Over the course of this class we covered many different topics, ranging from graphing, the circle equation, to solving systems of linear equations and matrices. Before we started working on any of our large unit projects we learned the smaller mathematical principals that we would later employ to solve the problem. At the time, learning all of the math felt arbitrary and It would sometimes seem to have nothing to do with the final project that we were going to solve. Eventually all of the concepts that we had been learning came together and I could see exactly what we would need to do to solve the large unit project/problem. Its very interesting to look back on the times I spent before projects wondering how graphing a circle would help me figure out the Orchard unit problem or how solving a system of linear equations would help me solve the Meadows or Malls problem and realizing how all of the seemingly arbitrary math actually had real life relevance.
